Remember that time Chris Pratt posted that selfie looking all jacked and cut? Well, at that time the lost about 60 pounds in six months. Quite the success story. So how did he do it?
Well, the short answer is, “three to four hours a day of just consistent, ass-kicking hard work.” And that’s what he told MEN’S FITNESS for their July/August 2014 cover story.
But the longer answer is that MARVEL put him to work with personal trainer Duffy Gaver (trainer to many of today’s a-list action stars) and nutritionist Phil Goglia to prepare for his role in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Believe it or not, they bumped up his calories to about 4,000 per day, loaded up his H20 intake, and had him in the gym six days per week.
As for his workouts, MEN’S FITNESS reports they spanned from everything including: P90X, running, swimming, boxing, and kickboxing. He even worked in a triathlon.
And it looks like the 36-year old star is sticking to his guns with the whole health-kick. He said he was committed to staying shredded, and six months later, he’s still looking lean in his work in Jurassic World which premieres June 12th.
