There have been countless times when I became upset about things and obsessed over them, only to realize that doing so consumed my mental and emotional energy, which could have been better spent on moving forward. This is where Stoicism comes in—a practical philosophy that has helped me navigate the challenges of life with greater resilience.

Stoicism is an ancient Greek philosophy that focuses on cultivating virtue and inner strength. Its key principles revolve around the four cardinal virtues: wisdom, courage, justice, and temperance. What seems to be central for stoicism is focusing on what’s within our control and accepting what’s not. This mindset empowers us to deal with life’s inevitable difficulties and setbacks with grace and composure.
