Behind-the-Scenes: The Shoe That Was Banned by the NBA Has Blown Up

Back in 2010 Ryan and Adam Goldston, the co-founders of Athletic Propulsion Labs presented their shoes to the NBA because players have expressed interest in wearing them. Unfortunately for APL, the shoes were banned due to the fact that they may create an “unfair competitive advantage.” Well, wait a second, it actually worked out for the two entrepreneurs as the brand became one of the top searches on Google, their website crashed, and everyone was now talking about their product.
